A Characterful Business to Unveil

Located in the heart of the historic center of Honfleur, this renovation project focused on a place with a unique identity, blending the worlds of a crêperie and an ice cream parlor. The project owner aimed to give this establishment a strong, coherent, and immediately recognizable image that could enhance its exceptional location and unique atmosphere.

Restoring Meaning and Personality to the Spaces

Our intervention involved a thorough rethinking of the commercial façade as well as the interior decoration of the two dining rooms. The challenge was to create a true harmony between the architecture of the place, its use, and the experience offered to visitors, while asserting a warm, elegant, and memorable visual identity.

Highlighting the Existing Heritage

This renovation also allowed for the revelation and highlighting of several old elements of the business, witnesses to its history. Among them, an ornate plaster ceiling dating from the late 19th century regained its presence and decorative value. This work of enhancing the existing heritage was at the heart of our approach, respecting the soul of the place and its integration into the historical fabric of Honfleur.

A Decoration Thought Out to the Last Detail

All decorative elements were carefully designed, conceived, and selected by our firm. Each choice was made to engage with the motif of the sign imagined by the project owner, in order to create a coherent, sensitive, and distinctive whole. Materials, shades, lines, and finishes contribute to a welcoming and refined interior atmosphere, both contemporary and rooted in the history of the place.

A Redesigned Façade as the Signature of the Place

The renovation of the commercial façade played a crucial role in this transformation. More than just a simple covering, it was designed as the first expression of the project's identity: a strong, readable, and elegant showcase capable of attracting attention while integrating seamlessly into the architectural landscape of the old center of Honfleur.
